Thank you for visiting Fun Keynotes!

Thank you for visiting! I’m Dr. Alan Mueller, and I believe audiences learn better when they are laughing.

I’m the Senior Consultant at Adaptive Challenge Consulting and the author of Leading with Emotional Intelligence, and Improv and the Art of Leadership. I’m also the TEDx speaker behind (“Doing the Math: How Do We Measure Privilege”). I bring decades of experience in leadership development.

I don’t just speak at audiences; I create interactive experiences that break down barriers and build immediate trust. Drawing on nearly a decade as a professional improv comedian, I transform traditional leadership training into a dynamic, two-way conversation. My sessions are high-energy, deeply participatory, and designed to keep every attendee—from C-suite executives to emerging leaders—fully present and involved.

Why My Keynotes Are Different:

  • Interactive by Design: I use improv techniques to turn passive listeners into active collaborators. We don’t just talk about communication; we practice it in real-time.

  • Laughter as a Learning Tool: I believe we retain more when we’re enjoying ourselves.
I break down complex, doctoral-level concepts—like Emotional Intelligence, Myers-Briggs applications, and intercultural intelligence—using humor and storytelling that sticks.

  • Adaptable & Authentic: No two audiences are the same. My improv background allows me to read the room and adapt instantly, ensuring the content feels personal, relevant, and fresh for every group.

Whether we are exploring personality types in the office or navigating difficult conversations across difference, my goal is to leave you challenged, entertained, and energized.

Let’s move beyond the podium and create a keynote experience that your audience will be talking about long after the event ends.
